Part One: Leadership & Courageous Conversations Workshop by Ally Nitschke of Made For More

A 2-hour workshop in leadership and courageous conversations in the workplace, working through the challenges – from how to get that promotion, ask for a pay rise, balancing work and life – and providing the necessary tools to develop, grow, succeed and become an exceptional leader.

Our Panel Speakers included Nat Morley, Chief Operating Officer at KWP; Melinda Parent, Creative Director & Founder of Oranje Creative and Sophie Young, Managing Director of Showpony. Ally Nitschke, Founder of Made For More

Ally is a Leadership Coach and Educator, Facilitator and Speaker. With many years experience in the leadership and change management space. Ally teaches people how to have courageous conversations and works with organisations to create courageous leaders.

Her mission is to find your hidden potential and give you the necessary tools to develop, grow, succeed and become an exceptional leader.

Kimberlee Wells, CEO TBWA\Melbourne and TBWA\Adelaide

Throughout Kimberlee’s career, she has advised many of Australia’s leading brands and Government agencies, helping them realise incremental growth through creativity. Her passion lies in leveraging creativity as an accelerant for shareholder value and driving positive social change.

Kimberlee is a regular media commentator and has been acknowledged multiple times locally and internationally for her leadership within the industry. She is considered amongst the top 10 most powerful women in Australian media. And is one of only 30 global creative leaders currently advising Google Assembly on the role creativity and technology play in our lives in the future.

Melinda Parent, Creative Director of Oranje Creative

Melinda‘s ad industry experience spans over 20 years and her agency is a full service studio that works across all media including digital, print, press, TV, radio and events. With an impressive portfolio of work across all traditional and contemporary media, Melinda is dedicated to achieving exceptional results for every one of her clients. Her attention to detail, design, photographic styling skills and imaginative art direction are part of a unique skill set that brings about unexpected, yet highly effective answers to creative briefs. Rather than keeping up with market trends, Melinda stays one step ahead at all times; her energetic and tireless approach shining through in the work she creates.

Melinda is currently also studying a Master of Marketing and Digital Communications at Monash University.

Nat Morley, COO at KWP!

Nat has over three decades of experience in advertising, research, and media across the Asia Pacific. She has recently been appointed as KWP!’s first Chief Operating Officer, overseeing operations across all KWP! divisions which include Media, Social Media, Design, Advertising and Technology. Nat has lent her extensive experience in research and global strategy to high profile brands such as Coca-Cola, Johnson & Johnson, Coopers, Metricon and RAA. Nat also currently sits on the Board and Executive team of KWP!

Panel speaker:
Sophie Allchurch (Young), Managing Director of Showpony Adelaide

Beginning her career in advertising production, Sophie worked in Sydney and London before joining Showpony as an Account Manager in 2006. In 2008, she was head-hunted for a role as a Special Projects Manager in New York City, where she managed a multi-million-dollar fine-art collection.

Sophie returned to Adelaide in 2012 and re-joined Showpony as an Account Director and partner. She was quickly promoted to General Manager and in 2020 she became Managing Director, responsible for the performance of the Adelaide office.
